The 2022 Rizio Lipinsky $5,000 Law School Scholarship will provide direct financial aid to a future attorney, in the form of tuition payment. We hope that by providing financial assistance, the winner can focus much of their time on learning to be an exceptional advocate, rather than having to hold multiple jobs or miss out on valuable opportunities, while in law school.

How to Apply for the 2022/2023 Rizio Lipinsky $5,000 Law Scholarship:
Submit an essay of 1,000 words or less explaining why you want to become a lawyer, and how you plan to use your law degree to fight for justice for others. Email your essay to email@example.com.
Law Scholarship Entry Deadlines:
Applications will be accepted from February 1, 2022, through July 1, 2022. The winner will be notified by August 15, 2022. Submissions received before February 1, 2021, or after July 1, 2022, will not be considered.
Open to U.S. citizens who have earned admission into a law school in the U.S. for the 2022/2023 school year, and to current law school students who will still be attending law school in the U.S. throughout the 2021/2022 year.
Eligible students must meet one of the following requirements:
• Future students: Student must be planning to attend law school in the 2022/2023 academic year.
• Current students: Student must be enrolled in law school, and for the 2022/2023 school year.
Notification of Winner:
The law student selected to receive the $5,000 law school scholarship from Rizio Lipinsky will be notified by August 15, 2022.
The winner of the 2022 Rizio Lipinsky $5,000 Law School Scholarship will be notified of their win by August 15, 2022. The winner will be required to show proof of enrollment in law school. The financial award will be paid directly to the law school.
The winner will be selected by a panel of judges including the firm’s partners and its senior management team.
The Fine Print:
All submissions become the property of Rizio Lipinsky Law Firm. By applying for this scholarship program, the applicant grants Rizio Lipinsky Law Firm and its agents and/or representatives permission to post the applicant’s name, photo, and the winning entry on the firm’s website https://www.riziolawfirm.com and other marketing platforms such as law firm blogs, law firm social media accounts, law firm newsletters, and marketing campaigns.

Question: Is this scholarship open to high school seniors planning to attend college in the fall?
Answer: No. This scholarship is only available to U.S. citizens that are enrolled in a school of law’s Juris Doctorate (JD) program in the fall.
Question: Is this scholarship open to undergraduate and graduate students who are planning to study a related field such as criminal justice and/or who are pursuing a career in law enforcement?
Answer: No. This scholarship is only available for U.S. residents enrolled in a JD program in the United States for the fall.
Question: Is this scholarship available to law students pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M)?
Answer: No. This scholarship is only available to U.S. citizens pursuing a JD.
Question: Is this scholarship a loan? Do I have to pay it back?
Answer: No. This is not a student loan. It is essentially a law school grant to help you pay for law school. The winner does not need to pay the grant money back.
Question: Should my scholarship essay have a title?
Answer: You may include a title if you’d like, but it is not required.
Question: How will this scholarship fund help me?
Answer: The $5,000 law school scholarship will help subsidize your tuition.
Question: What can I do with the scholarship money?
Answer: The scholarship will be paid to the law school you attend, covering $5,000 of tuition.
Question: Does this law scholarship cover housing?
Answer: No. The Rizio Lipinsky Law School Scholarship does not cover housing.
