Contingency Fee

By January 29, 2016

Personal injury lawyers often work on a contingency fee, which is paid when your personal injury attorney successfully obtains a recovery on your behalf. The lawyer will receive a percentage of the verdict or settlement amount. Costs and fees accrued during litigation will also be deducted from the final financial verdict or monetary settlement. In cases where the personal injury lawyer is unsuccessful in making a recovery for the injured client, fees are not charged to the client.
